Welcome to Twisted Citrus T Shirt Co. – we are a small independent T Shirt brand dreamed up among the lemon & olive groves surrounding the white village of Álora, in the mountains of southern Spain.

Nearby, the dramatic crags of El Chorro rise out of the gentler folds of the Guadalhorce valley, with pine forests, sun-bleached limestone cliffs, narrow ravines & reservoirs of almost improbable turquoise water. 

Over millennia, the Guadalhorce has carved an immense gorge through the limestone, leaving great walls thrusting out of the landscape. Beyond the pines are flashes of bougainvillea, oleander & wildflowers, eagles circling overhead & mountain goats skittering sure-footedly across slabs of rock turned burnt orange by the setting sun.

Against an impossibly blue sky & in the clear, strong Andalusian light, it is difficult not to be inspired. Inevitably, much of that landscape finds its way into our designs.

El Chorro has long been one of Spains great climbing destinations, with hiking & climbing routes scattered across the mountains. Living here, it is almost impossible not to become part of that community, and many of our friends & local businesses share an enthusiasm for climbing, hiking & generally spending as much time outdoors as possible.

Our aim is simple: to create original, limited edition designs with a sense of place, adventure & humour. Designs to make you smile, remind you of somewhere you have been, or gently suggest that perhaps you ought to be outside doing something far more interesting instead!
